Secretary Roger Hessel continued his clock repair sessions, completing part 2 on "bushing worn pivot holes".
Joe Brown of Ch 8 (New England) fame was our speaker, "The Other Watch Companies in Waltham". Companies he covered included Auburndale, US Watch, Columbia, Suffolk, and Howard. It was a very interesting presentation.

Greater Boston Watch & Clock was well represented at the NAWCC national meeting in Philadelphia in July. Russ Sandfield took a few more pictures to finish off his roll of film. This is Ron Price (left) with friend Jon Lund at the Price-Less Ads table. Jon is an avid Waltham and early American pocket watch collector. Coming from a western state, Jon has taken a liking to us eastern folks. Seems we have more of his kind of watches. Maybe so, but you wouldn't believe the bargains he found on the Mart floor! |
